Do you ever wake up first thing in the morning and immediately head to turn up the a/c temperature to make it warmer? If you meditate first thing in the morning, naturally you are cold. Throwing a blanket over you makes the practice much more comfortable and enjoyable. The purpose of a meditation blanket is to provide you with comfort and accommodate you during seated positions.

Wearing a pair of headphones during your practice will help to intensify the sound effects if you are listening to sound waves or a guided meditation. You can certainly listen to your sounds on a speaker or an Alexa echo dot, but having the headphones will help block out all other noises.
