I’d like to start out by saying, congratulations to you for even being interested in what a healing journey could be. You’re probably reading because you’ve experienced pain in your life and want to learn how to manage it while also growing and developing as a human being.

Truthfully, deciding that you want to heal is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself, and it’s one of those things that no one can do for you. You’ve got to do this for yourself. You owe it to yourself to start this process and become everything that you were destined to be. So let’s get into the good stuff.

What is a healing journey and how do I get started?

How To Get Started With Your Personal Healing Journey:

♡ What is a healing journey?

All a healing journey means is that you live your life with the intention of healing. You stop reacting to everything that happens to you and instead, take it as an opportunity to learn something about yourself. Life is a journey, and when you live every day with the understanding that life is happening FOR you, not TO you, you actively seek out ways in which all of life’s circumstances can teach you a lesson about yourself or about the world around you.

♡ Awareness of your mind

You begin by becoming aware of your mind and the thoughts that occupy it. Start to understand that you are not your thoughts. You are simply the observer of them. Once you begin to observe your thoughts, you become aware that you actually have control over them. You’re able to take complete control of yourself. When a thought arises that doesn’t align with what you want in your mind, you simply exert your control and choose to think another way.

♡ Investigating your triggers

When you start to observe your thoughts and pay attention to what’s going on in your mind, you’ll begin to notice when something triggers you. Use your triggers as a guide to what inside of you needs healing. Start to investigate your mind and ask yourself the tough questions. Why did this trigger me? What lesson are you trying to teach me Almighty God? And then go within. Spend some time alone to really listen to what comes up for you.

♡ Realizing your power

I say this with all the love in the world. A little tough love if you will. Drop the victim mentality. For as long as you continue to identify as a victim you will never identify as a conqueror. Realize that you possess something so powerful. That is your powerful mind. You are powerful, strong and so much wiser because of what you have been through. Harness the power of your mind and only think thoughts that make you feel powerful.
