I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection (Philippians 3:10). In another letter he tells his readers, I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great His power is to help those who believe Him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in heaven (Ephesians 1:19-20).
I too, just like Paul, am completely fascinated with the resurrection of Christ and the mighty power that allowed it to happen. It is that same mighty power that freed me from every single heavy chain that was weighing me down. You see, just like many children of God, I was not always writing passages of God’s grace and His faithfulness. Instead, I was down in the lowest places, sinning with all the other sinful creatures of the world. I had no thoughts of my future or any real plans for my life. God’s timing is perfect and He works every wrong thing out for good. He said to me, “I have created you for my own grand plan and it’s time you start living that way!” Incredible things started happening in my life when I decided to dive into God’s word. I am now currently writing a book, working as a child care worker at a christian facility, where every single employee there radiates and shines with God’s light, and will be starting school to become a Christian Counselor. All glory goes to God. He made a way out of absolutely no way at all. He pulled me out of the pits and placed me into the places where I belong. He can and will do the same for each and every one of you. No matter how bad or shameful your past is. Give Him the chance and you’re whole life will soon shift into the direction He wants.
When you realize you are one with God in Christ, you go from being a powerless person to someone who sees miracles on a daily basis. It makes the things that used to seem impossible, within your reach. The limits on your ability go from not enough to being able to achieve anything possible. Once you realize that with Him anything is possible, you begin to throw your best efforts into every assignment no matter how small or big. You go from never being able to hear God to realizing you have 24/7 access to God’s thoughts and an ability to hear from Him all the time. Hearing from Him is not some huge elaborate thing, it’s simply a thought in your head that’s a little brighter than most. It sticks out to you. It’s looking at something and knowing that it can only be a sign from Him. When you know, you just absolutely know. My friends it’s the biggest privilege you’ll ever have, getting to communicate with Him and having Him directing your every move. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9). This I’ve come to know is nothing but the truth. So let’s just give it all up. Let’s stop worrying about all the day-to-day things. Let’s give it ALL to God.
