No Better Way to Start/End Your Day

Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

My favorite time to spend with God is usually in the morning when I wake up. It’s a perfect way to refresh my mind and give me the energy I need to tackle my day! It puts me in the best mood and starts my day off on a great note. But I also really enjoy ending my day with God aswell. Depending on the day I had, this is actually what is best for me. I work with alot of children so ending my day with God is the most peaceful way to wind down at the end of the day! I can go from stressed and overwhelmed to completely peaceful. There are some days when my job can take a complete toll on my mental health and the state of my well being. So getting that time in with my Heavenly Father is so important to me, and a necessary tool to maintaining my health and mental state.

I understand that life can be so busy sometimes. You might have kids, school, jobs, or social obligations that need your attention. But somewhere in between we have to make time for God. It’s the most important relationship we need to maintain. I believe that spending time with Him is the best thing we could do for ourselves. How are we supposed to know who our Heavenly Father is if we don’t spend any time with Him. And how are we supposed to hear what our Father is trying to tell us if we never spend time in His word? Nothing makes Him happier than those who constantly seek Him. This week I challenge all of you to spend 30 minutes a day reading God’s word. Investing in a bible will be the best thing you will ever do for yourself. You can also download the bible app. I personally prefer a good ole bible. You will also need a journal or some paper to take notes and study what you are reading, bible highlighters are optional, but they are so helpful, and of course a pen. Incredible things start to happen when you make time for God. Join my challenge and wait patiently for the blessings that will pour into your life!
